BUS171: Individual Assignment 1

Some new ideas that interest me thus far is the business process and how analysts map out the business process in order to solve a problem. It is interesting how analysts learn about the current processes of the businesses and its issues, then create a business process model in order to make the business process more efficient and effective.

I have an idea for the team project. I would like to focus on the ordering process at Ross Dress for Less. Ross is a department store that orders from vendors. I am curious to know how they use information systems to decide whether they should purchase inventory.
